most of us have been seating on Kuwait Cinema Company chairs for years now forced to their offering, their own way of hospitality, their own way of introducing flicks to us, and without thinking outside their way of doing all of that. We have been together for 3 years now. It all started in December 8th 2006 (hope i did the math right, 3 not 2). We so far have 93 podcast episodes. Even though we have not been as active as before but rest assured that we always keep in touch in a way or another and podcasting is just one of those ways. We always scout for new ideas, new technology to implement into our website which makes us different. So that was just a reminder to our old friends who have been listening to our show and a welcome to those who just joined.

December 8th 2006 was the first day myself and Musaed released our first episode, Sushi Sushi Sushi. it was so far a great year and we did the following:

1- Kept on going for a yea; which is a commitment

2- Released 45 episodes with a variety of topics, flavors, depth, and genuinity

3- Branched two more specialized podcasts; Dinar Chat and Movie Chat

4- 2 interviews; Bazaar and Kuwait Times

5- Established a big fan base which we are still having trouble measuring; but we can say it is big becuase of our file transfer which reached ~ 50 GBs a month

Podcasting is fun and we are really enjoying it where we are offering you a new way of listening to topics the way the youngsters see it … so keep on listening to us because YOU are our inspiration. have you ever been to bathroom in a mall and found it dripping water from top to bottom, even trash canes are filled with water,  and the reason most likely is because of the prayer time. This week in Deera Chat we talk about this issue, about why we do that in public areas where other people will not be able to use the bathroom after we finish Wudu. We are not discouraging Wudu and prayer in public but we would like see more people use the bathroom and leave it CLEAN for others.  may be we need to use stuff similar to the below picture. Our cultures are changing … The unacceptable back in the old days is now being acceptable … if you take a look at the “seerat il 700b” show which people back in the old days were considering a NO NO subject to talk about … so what happened now and how people are receiving this kind of change. listen to our show this week to find out.

If you decided one day to go to a Cafe (قهوة), just take a minute and see how you’ll behave, wear, and do there and compare this day to another day you spend to a coffee shop (Starbucks, Columbus cafe, Coffee Bean, Second Cup, etc). Man you’ll see a huge difference, the main thing which Ali noticed of course is the ABSENCE OF GIRLS in the قهوة on the other hand, Musaed noticed tones of other things … listen up and you’ll know what the differences are.
