time for movin’ on?

So since I left home after eleventh grade I have lived 11 different places and moved 14 times. I haven’t ever resented this or wished that it wasn’t this way. I have liked it and sort of thrived on the change and challenge on re acclimating myself. Well, if you look at the pattern you can see that it’s mentally time to start preparing for a move again only we are not. Instead of preparing to go we are working on settling and this is quite a foreign concept to me. I can settle in a place quickly but I have yet to perfect the art of staying. When I don’t like something or a relationship isn’t going 100% how I’d like it to in my mind it’s always been o.k. because I’m moving anyhow. This past few weeks I’ve been struggling with that. I didn’t realize until just this week what the problem really was. Now that I’ve identified it and done a little thinking I believe that I’ll just have to change my perspective and take on the challenge of staying for awhile longer instead of leaving yet again.
